The home should be a place of restfulness, relaxation, and comfort. Here are 5 mood-boosting additions you can incorporate in yours.

1. Incense
Incense, in my experience, has this ability to completely change the way a space feels, especially in cases of built up stuffiness. If it's not your thing, though, candles work too.

2. Succulents
Succulents are truly the easiest plants to take care of. They're a great indoor plant and require little watering, so why not give them a try?

3. Himalayan Salt Lamps + Tea Light Holders
Himalayan salt lamps like these do wonders for mood! Studies have proved that himalayan salt lamps and candle holders improve happiness, and everyone could use more happiness!

4. Yoga Mat
This is useful for anyone, even those just trying to develop a practice or stretch daily. (I recommend this one-its affordable and has pockets to carry your stuff on the go)

5. An Open Window
If you live in the right climate, nothing beats fresh air! Opening a window can help air out the toxins in our rooms. Surprisingly, even in cities, the indoor air will be more polluted than the outdoor air. I always relish in the ability to open up my windows once it cools off where I live.
