A Mini Guide to Getting In Shape: Guest Post from Ida Jones

Want to get in shape without disturbing your daily routine? Sounds a bit challenging isn’t it? We all face this dilemma of dreaming about exercising regularly but fail to do so just because the hours are short and our routines are hectic. Even if we start taking out time to do a bit of exercise regularly; we fail to pursue it for long just because we get caught up in different situations every day.

Dieticians and weight planners keep on repeating the same mantras of eating healthy, not skipping meals, exercising regularly and all that but how can you make it convenient for yourself to implement all of this in your daily life? Here is a short mini guide to getting in shape without making much effort about it.

  1. Reserve An Hour:

Instead of making long term workout plans or joining a gym which would take you more time to get yourself motivated; try adopting a simple workout plan that can be executed anytime, anywhere.

Be it in your home or in your office, while watching TV or talking to a friend; make sure that you reserve an hour to exercise in a simple way. Buy a set of dumbbells for your home that can be nicely placed in a rack and can be taken to the office as well. In this way; you don’t have to make any extra efforts to start off with your exercise.

  1. Take Good Advice:

Visit a good dietician or well-known nutritionist and discuss in detail about your body structure and the requirements it takes to get in ideal body shape. Generally, many of us hesitate to visit these specialists just because we are afraid that we might not be able to carry on with their suggestions for long. Don’t do that! Visit a good weight planner today and discuss in detail about your reservations regarding your body. You will thank yourself later for doing this.

  1. Never Skip Breakfast:

You might be hearing it for long because almost every doctor, every dietician recommends it and that’s true as well. Your breakfast should be the most important meal of the day for you. Whether you are getting late for work or you have an urgent meeting to attend; try eating an apple or just a glass of milk would be sufficient to start off towards a healthy day ahead. Skipping breakfast and then expecting your body to get in shape will be a far-fetched idea.

  1. Increase Water Intake:

Yes! Your body literally demands for it! Water intake is essential for a healthy lifestyle. Keep a bottle of water with you every time and everywhere you go. Rather than buying a can of Soda when you feel thirsty; buy a bottle of water. Water makes up for 70 percent of your body weight so make sure that you don’t neglect this important aspect of your daily life to obtain maximum results.

  1. Cut Down On Junk:

Eat healthy food. Take lots of fruits and vegetables, lean meat and fish in your diet. Cut down on fibers and junk food, those burgers that you love to eat on your way back home and that pizza delivery that you just can’t resist. Your body is your most priceless asset, make sure that you take care of it by cutting down on carbohydrates, sugary and bakery items and fats. Take care of your health so that it takes care of you.
